Idyllically nestling among hills, Waldenbuch exudes a charm all of its own with the half-timbered buildings, fountains and stairways in its historical old town centre. Visitors to the town are enthralled by St. Vitus' Parish Church with its 36-m-high tower and the magnificent castle.

Apart from the guided city tours, which are on offer on the 1st Sunday of every month from May to October, you can also explore Waldenbuch very easily on your own. 22 information points throughout the historical town centre, from the Town Hall to the Museum Ritter and back, guide you round the town's main places of interest.

A fascinating combination of art and nature can be found on the Museum Cycle Tour or on a guided tour along the "Sculptoura"-Trail. If you prefer an outing to Schönbuch Nature Park, we recommend retracing the past on a forest excursion surrounded by nature. Waldenbuch also has a lot to offer in the way of culture. At the Museum of Everyday Life in Waldenbuch Castle visitors can enjoy a tour of discovery through the daily life of the past 200 years, while the alternating exhibitions at the Museum Ritter on the theme of the Square focus on the art of the 20th and 21st centuries. In the same building, the famous Ritter Sport ChocoShop with its exhibition, shop and chocolate workshops is every chocoholic's dream. For those who like plenty of exercise, Waldenbuch offers countless walks, cycle and hiking trails. Sports grounds and facilities and play areas compensate for the strains of daily life.
